The regular Saturday Night Sprint was inaugurated in 1996 and has gained tremendous momentum since then. It gained recognition from the public as well as the respective authorities and motor clubs.

Held at Johor Circuit, the regular Saturday Night Sprints play an important role in curbing illegal racing in the street, as the track serves as a excellent track for beginners and amateur drivers to hone their skills in fulfilling their respective wishes or desire and not having to break any law or cause danger to themselves or others. 

Covering a length of 300 meters of the main straight of the circuit, bike and car owners can display the might of their machines and their skills within a safe area. Those who are fascinated with speed and endurance will be able to pursue their interest in a legalised sprint event. Only legal street bikes and cars are allowed to enter the sprint. This event is sanctioned by various government agencies including the Traffic Police, Road Transport Department and the local authority.

Johor Circuit, in organising the Saturday Night Sprint and Sprint Challenge is contributing its part in developing motorsports into a more accessible sport activity and a family oriented event. Beside the sprints, various events and side activities are also planned such as carnivals and celebrity performances scheduled for the future.

Saturday Night Sprint will be open specially for cars only on 2 nights during the fasting month.

SPRINT WILL START AT 10.00PM

Satuday Night Sprint for Bikes will be stop temporary during fasting month from 14th August and will resume back on 25th September 2010
