As part of Johor Circuit’s ongoing calendar of events for 2005, our Sprint Challenges for the year will commence in February for both cars and bikes.  This popular and challenging night event in Johor Circuit at Pasir Gudang will begin from 8:00pm onwards.

The Sprint Challenge series is held once every two months.  It is the time for regular participants in our favourite weekly Saturday Night Sprint events to show off their mettle and machine in challenging each other.

On any Johor Sprint Challenge evening, motorcyclists and car drivers from both sides of the causeway will head for Johor Circuit, Pasir Gudang for one ultimate reason: to seek the thrill, challenge and excitement of the fun in showing off their skills.   The Sprint Challenge is a motorsports event designed to provide the motorsports enthusiast with a fun-filled, entry-level speed event.  Participating cars include Hondas, Mazda RX7s, Mitsubishi Evos, Nissan Skylines and our own Wira turbos.

Although there is no big prize monies implemented as yet for the Challenge, yet the participants come in droves for the sheer fun and excitement of being ranked and timed as the fastest sprinter either in their cars or on their bikes.  There is however an accepted electronic timing system in place for the Sprint Challenge to ensure a fair competitive spirit amongst the entrants. 

The event is a highlight for numerous motorsports print media from both Malaysia and Singapore.  For this simple reason, businesses in the automotive accessories and augmentation industry have a huge interest in the event.

The Johor Sprint Challenge is opened to the public who are interested to see the action. Audience charges for the Sprint Challenge will be RM10.00 for the pit entrance and Grandstand. The event starts from 8pm till 1am.
