Carnival Site :
The Johor Circuit track has large areas at the grandstand site which can be utlised for various purposes.  There are 4 general areas where activities can be held for a carnival :

1. Skid-pan      2. Square open ground     3. Rectangular open space     4. Paddock booths

 

 

1. Skid-pan : The skid-pan area is tarmac-covered, and is ideal for motor-related activities such as slalom and karting.   It is also an ideal area for setting up a stage for an open-air concert or show.  Additionally it is also an excellent space for holding any outdoor activity that requires an even, hard surface.

 

2. Square open ground : Next to the skid-pan area towards the paddock side is a large squarish non-tarmac open area.  This area directly faces the Gate B entrance.  The space is ideal for setting up big corporate tents to display and promote products.

 

3. Rectangular open space : Between the back of the grandstand and the paddock is a long rectangular open space which can also be used to set up additional stalls and tents.  Ideal for product displays and corporate displays.

 

4. Paddock booths : There are also covered paddock stalls which can be used for setting up booth to sell or display merchandise and food.  There are a total of 98 open sided booth space, each measuring 10ft wide  X 14ft deep.  Also good for games booths and children's activities such as colouring contests.
